Ten finalists are competing for a chance to win $5,000* of pet food for their rescue group.

A good pet rescue story is more than heartwarming, it's what keeps up going. It's what gives us hope. And it's what we're looking for in our Doing More™ for Pets Rescue Stories Contest.

Through the Doing More™ for Pets Rescue Story Contest, scores of Rally to Rescue® Ambassadors submitted their own rescue stories.

Our contest judges chose 10 finalists from a Rally to Rescue® Ambassador rescue story submissions.

One Grand Prize winner will receive coupons good for up to $5,000 in Purina® Pro Plan® brand Pet Food. The Grand Prize winner or a designated member of the winning organization, along with the winning pet (if air travel is possible) and the pet's current owner (if adopted) will also receive a 4-day, 3-night trip in November to Oaks, PA, to attend the 2010 Kennel Club of Philadelphia and National Dog Shows. The remaining nine Finalist organizations and the pet owner(s) (if adopted) will each receive a one-year supply of Purina® Pro Plan® brand Pet Food for one pet.

A popular vote here between June 4, 2010 and October 1, 2010 combined with a judge's score will determine the Grand Prize winner. The winner will be posted to this website on December 1, 2010.
